Logistics Support Services: Wolverine supports approximately 15,000 soldiers at Fort Gordon. Our services include Field and Sustainment level maintenance support for tactical units and government civilian activities. Wolverine also provides Central Issue Facility (CIF), Ammunition Supply Point (ASP), Subsistence Supply Management Office (SSMO), hazardous material (HAZMAT), Supply Support Activity (SSA), and Installation Property Book Office (IPBO), warehouse, and retail supply operations. Within the Installation Transportation Division, Wolverine operates the Personal Property Shipping Office (PPSO) and provides support for material and personnel movements as well as unit movement planning. Wolverine also manages the transportation motor pool and provides container storage and repair operations.

Base Level Logistics and Secure Warehouse Support: DLA Barstow is currently ranked as the number one depot based on our on-time shipping, receiving, and storing rates as well as inventory accuracy compared to all other DLA depots. Wolverine Services operates 23 individual warehouses and storage lots totaling approximately three million square feet at the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution facilities in Barstow, California. Our personnel are responsible for $16 billion worth of inventory with close to 200,000 unique items, including hazardous and radioactive materiel. With this inventory, we support deployments around the world by ensuring our armed forces and our allies receive the assets needed to complete their missions. Wolverine also offers full loading and unloading services utilizing two cranes, including a shuttle lift capable of moving up to 100 tons, and two Rough Terrain Container Handlers (RTCH). Our certified crane operators and crews can quickly load or unload the materiel transported by rail or road for their tenant customers aboard the Marine Corps Logistics Base, tenant organizations of Fort Irwin, and for the U.S. Army conducting training exercises at the National Training Center for upcoming deployments.

Wolverine also provides flying crew chief services for helicopters, and air traffic control, flight dispatch and advisory services.  Wolverine air traffic controllers possess current FAA air traffic control specialist certificates, and our flight operations specialists and dispatch personnel all possess weather bureau ratings from the National Weather Service.

Facility Operations, Logistics, and Technical Support Services: Wolverine’s work at Fort Benning includes facility operations, logistics support services, and devices services. In total, Wolverine is responsible for over 11,000 items worth more than $60 million. Wolverine’s services enhance operational readiness with: Device fabrication: Design, construct, install, and maintain full-size or scale model visual displays, training devices, and exhibits from a variety of materials. Final products include terrain boards, maps boards, commander’s boards, mines, and mock improvised explosive devices (IED) for training soldiers. Simulators: Provide maintenance and end-user instruction in rifle firing simulators, issue and maintain artillery and gunfire simulators and combat simulation training aids.
